FME Fall Festival!
Thank you to all the families that attended the PTO's Trunk or Treat Festival last night at CMES. It was awesome to see former students visiting with their families, current students, and everyone else who was able to attend. A huge thank you to the Adair family who was able to attend the event and celebrate the life of their son Christopher. His memorial plaque ensures that he will always be a part of the Camp Mohave family.
FME's Fall Festival is tomorrow at the Fort Mojave Campus. Candy, costumes, games, obstacle courses, food, raffles, and more!
5-7:30 :).
Thank you to our parents and staff members who attended. It was an informative night!
Thank you to The Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster, Detectives and K-9 “Thor” for attending our MVJHS Parent Drug Awareness Night!
This was previously posted. However, I am posting again in case you have not had the chance to follow the link. Let's show our support for Mrs. Cook as a LifeChanger. Please leave comments about how she has helped you, your children, or the school. CMES would love to have one of our teachers recognized. http://app.lifechangeroftheyear.com/nomination_detail.cfm?NominationID=467
Thank you to the Fort Mojave Indian Tribal Band for inviting our MVJHS musicians to participate in your Fort Mojave Indian Days parade!
Don’t forget tomorrow’s Parent Night at MVJH at 5:30 pm! Dinner will be served and babysitting will be provided. The evening’s topic: Drug trends in Mohave County. Don’t miss it!
CMES wants to remind parents that first quarter awards assemblies will be tomorrow morning. 4th Grade will begin at 8, 5th Grade will begin at 8:30, and 3rd Grade will begin at 9. We hope to see everyone there. If your child will be receiving an award, the teacher should have contacted you already.
Welcome back from the Dust Devils! We like to start off our first day after a big break with a reminder of procedures around campus!
It's good to be back :)
The district has been made aware of the soft lock-down in the Bullhead City districts due to a second-hand threat on social media against Bullhead Jr. High. We have consulted with both the MCSO and the Bullhead districts and have determined that we will operate following standard school procedures. All gates are locked and schools will be enforcing strict visitor procedures. Additionally, the MCSO will be patrolling our campuses more frequently today.
CMES wants to welcome everyone back to school for the second quarter. Just a reminder that this week will be busy with Red Ribbon Week Themes, Awards Assemblies, and Trunk or Treat. Please visit the events page at mvesd16.org for details on the above events.
Time to get back into the school routine: Get your sleep tonight because school resumes tomorrow morning!

One more week of break to go: Hope everyone is enjoying their time away from school. The second quarter begins on October 23rd.
Let the kids stay up late tonight: Tomorrow is our first day of Fall Break. Enjoy your time away, and we'll see everyone on October 23rd!
