Mohave Valley Schools annually screens all students in kindergarten, first, second, and sixth grade for vision and hearing issues, as well as all special education students. Please contact Debbie Doolin in Special Services at 768-4538 for more information. 

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) amended the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) to require that each local school district has obligations under PPRA and under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) to notify parents and students of their rights under both FERPA and PPRA.
