The ColorRun is happening now at the old Mohave Valley Elementary campus. There’s still plenty of races to join us, so head down now and run/walk for a great cause!
CMES would like to thank deputies Belpedio, Wilson, and Alvarado from the Mohave County Sheriff's Department. They came in and talked about the work they do, and showed off DOC. Doc is Deputy Wilson's partner. The sheriff's department visited to help close Red Ribbon Week at Camp Mohave.
Tomorrow's the big day! FME's first annual Color Run to help raise money for playground safety and shade! Anyone and Everyone is welcome, and you can expect to see your favorite faces from across the whole Mohave Valley Elementary District! Walk-up registrations welcome.

Red Ribbon Week is here! Here is a flyer to remind everyone of our themes this week!
CMES would like to remind parents that this week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week. The themes for each day are as follows
Monday - Team Up Against Drugs - Jersey Day
Tuesday - Peace out to Drugs - Tie Dye Day
Wednesday - Grade Level Spirit - 3rd Red, 4th Blue, 5th Yello
Thursday - Hocus Pocus, Drugs Be Gone - Character Day (represent your favorite character but no costumes)
Friday - Stay Woke and Drug Free - Pajama Day
*Remember to follow general dress code requirements listed in the student agenda.
CMES would like to let parents know that due to staff shortages, our ROCK assembly scheduled for this morning (10/25) has been canceled. Thank you.
CMES would like to remind families that tomorrow October 25, is our monthly college pride day. Your student may wear a shirt that represents his or her favorite college.
CMES was just informed that there will be a shift in the menu for Thursday and Friday of this week. The menu will now be switched for those two days. ON Thursday, Pizza will be the main menu item, and on Friday, Meatloaf will be the main menu item. This only affect Camp Mohave Elementary at this time.
CMES would like to remind all families that our Popcorn Fundraiser is coming to a close in the next few days. As a reminder, orders and money are due on Friday the 25th. If you need until the 28th, we will accept the money as late as that day, but will be processing orders on that day. So, that is the absolute latest to turn in orders and money.
CMES would like to invite families to the Ken Fovargue Park tonight as we begin our Red Ribbon Week Kick-off with a Walk Away from Drugs event. The event is a free community event hosted by the city. If you would like to attend, meet at the park at 5:00 PM this evening (October 23). From there, participants will walk a 1.5 mile loop to kick-off Red Ribbon Week. Fort Mojave's secretary, Mrs. Bruton, is out sick today. We'll do our best to run the office like she does. Hope she feels better soon!
CMES would like to thank all the amazing families that were able to attend our annual Trunk or Treat. It was a lot of fun to see the kids enjoying themselves. In an effort to share other fun activities for the kids, we would like to share information on MCC's Pumpkinfest. The date is Friday October 25 from 5 to 8 PM. There will be candy, games, and prizes. See attached flyer for additional information.
