MVJHS support staff have been busy emptying out student and gym lockers. Contents of each locker were placed in a bag and labeled with the student name and locker number. We will be prepared to give parents locker bags and consumable math and language arts books beginning this Friday, April 3rd from 8:30-4:00 pm and thereafter from 8:30-4:00 M-F until May 1. Friday’s pick-up will also align with Week #2 review packets and assignment sheets which will be freshly placed in bins on Friday morning as well. Beginning this Friday, please call the office at 928-768-9196 and disclose your child’s name and staff will gather items and set them outside the door for you. We appreciate your understanding during these challenging times and should you have additional questions, feel free to call the office M-F from 8-4 or email me at hansenc@mvdistrict.net

167 kids served Monday; 306 kids served today (Friday)! Way to go! Thanks to our Chartwells staff, drivers for the Mobile Meals, and volunteer riders for making this such a success! Watch for exciting updates next week making the meal program even easier!

Home: It's the new classroom! As we transition to working from home, it's important that kids have a dedicated space for schoolwork. For the best results, develop a home-school routine, and stick to it! Here is one of Mohave Valley's finest at work!
CMES parents and families. Please be ready for a call from your teacher(s) either today or tomorrow. They will be contacting you regarding work plans during the school closure. Packets for each grade will be printed and ready for distribution by early next week. The teachers met today and began putting together work packets. Some were busy calling parents as well. If you have not heard from your teacher by tomorrow at 3 PM, please call the school at 928-704-3600. In the meantime, please take advantage of the free breakfast and lunch M-F for the kids. Any child under 18, can take advantage of this. The delivery and times can be found at MVESD16.org.
